well, newborns are. maybe toddlers are too. and some kids can be good. a couple of teenagers. a few adults. see the trend?
maybe the years spent living degenerate a persons goodness. maybe it's the law of entropy: everything is headed towards destruction. maybe it's the people. maybe it's the world. maybe it's poverty, corruption, yadda yadda, whatever you want to blame it on. but i think it's all simply because humanity is imperfect, and maybe, just maybe, we all have this innate attraction to everything wrong.
Friendster is asking for us to have faith in humanity. this isn't enough. i say we should actively shape the world into a better place. this is what real idealism is about.
